Another great B&B
What at first did not seem to be a too long stage turned out to be actually quite long after I noticed that the initial planning was taking us on some gravel roads on through the mountains, which is simply no fun at all so we decided to go around this which added another 10-15kms to our route.
Again we had 2 options for this route either following the via Francigena by going up a pass and then straight into Tuscany, or following the val di Toro and take a different pass the next day and head for the coast at Cinque Terre. In the end we decided to stick with the initial plan to visit Cinque Terre.

The route took us through a valley with a slight incline and we were happy to some mountains again. Again with super nice weather we steadily made our way.

I was really looking forward to our accomodation in Borgo I hd this one on the radar since the very beginning when I planned the route. Unfortunately what I did not notice, that it was 3kms out of town with a nice 150m climb. After we made a stop and got groceries in town we made our way to the B&B (Anja swearing at my route planning throughout the whole way) we were rewarded with a super beautiful accomodation and great hosts. We were invitet for some snacks and beers to tell our story.

It had a beautiful garden with a great view and lot of animals for Anouk to see. They also had a puppy golden retreiver which Anouk made friends with in no time.
