Beautiful coast
After our one day recovery we were recharged and ready to move on. Looking at the stage it was definitely good to start it recharged since it began with some heavy climbing. From almost 0 at sea level to 500m up the mountaneous coast. The climb was tough but once again we were with gorgeous views and a overall beautiful scenery. The road was great to ride since it is closed to heavy traffic and not too many card where out there. So we rode for a good 90 minutes on this curvy road underneath us the nice little towns of Cinque Terre and the sea to our right.

It ended with a long tunnel, by then we had improved the ligthing on our bike which was a good investment we descended on a very curvy road with sharp turns all we cycled up before and arrived in La Spezia. This was the first actual big city we had to pass and I was kind of scared to ride in the traffic, but it turned out to be fairly easy as. And there was a cycle path along the harbor which made it easy for us to pass through most of the city and leave it quickly behind us. The outskrits of the city were rather ugly, huge harbor and then walls from a military base, so we kept pedaling and pedaling until we almost reached our destination, where we found a calm town and a bar to get some cool drinks.

After being refreshed we continued our way to Tellaro where we camped for the night. The camp ground once more was gorgeous with a nice pool and we had sea view from our tent. NICE!
Also the town was definitely worth a stay, totally relaxed with a nice little beach between cliffs with only a few bars and Restaurants invited for a longer stay, too bad we just had our rest day.
