Steady up and down
The morning of stage 7 invited us with an astonishing view directly from our room door over the valley in front of us. This simple view made the whole trip worth it.

We got a good breakfast from our lovely host and we then soon got on the bikes. since the last stage was shorter than expected unfortunately this was going to be longer. Looking at the profile it did not look serious, however Rico the owner from the resort in Chiang Khlam had warned us that this is going to be the tough one.

Once we got going we could not believe how right he was. It all started with a nice steep descent and then a few kms through the valley and then the first 300m climb with again steep ramps. And from there the up and down just kept. The landscape stayed astonishing and beautiful. But oh boy this was tough. Countless ramps all of them way above 10% incline made this trip probably the toughest we have ever done.

But of course at some point we knew this is the last one and from there it was flat until Pua, where we stayed at the nice HOMU villa hotel with super nice owners. They also had a little one year old daughter and a nice play area set up that Anouk was allowed to use as well.

In the evening we went to an Italian Restaurant to recharge with a lot of Pasta.
